I always go to Gino's East when I'm in Chicago. They're deep dish can't be beat. Paired with one of their craft beers and you have the perfect meal. The restaurant has an edgy feel, but is clean and the servers are very knowledgeable and friendly.
👏A flavorful deep-dish experience can be had at this Chicago-based pizza chain opened in 1966. @ginoseast as one of the top 3 pizzas in Chicago, their pizza was perfectly crispy crusts, plenty of generous cheese and sauce that’s a bit sour and sweet. That’s why people call their pies “Chicago-style.” Here’s a tip. Do not dismiss flavor once you found the one. — $21 for 12’ Gino Supreme —
This place is a MUST if you’re in Chicago. Best deep dish pizza I’ve had. The pizza sauce and crust was delicious! Service was good and their “Hall of Fame” is very very cool. They have good pandemic accommodations, but lack outdoor heating. Overall a good experience and would definitely recommend if you’re in town.
Well developed dough giving a good crispy yet airy crust. First rate ingredients make a difference. Fried squash blossoms were a pleasant surprise.
Staff was quick and nice but my order the pizza did not taste Like it use to which was very good .they used a cheaper brand of cheese . tough too chewy. The bottom crust to thin .good taste though. The patty just not good..too salty Like it was pulled out of a box and just placed on the pizza..not Gino made.
