What a spectacular experience for the third time. Let's start with the service. Our waiter chris was beyond spectacular. Everyone that spoke with us was spectacular and the meal was perfectly paced. The halibut was perfectly cooked. The sweetbreads were my least favorite. The corn dessert was to die for. Will return.
🦪🦆🍴Upscale, quality dinner that would match almost any expectation. We got the chef’s tasting menu which came down to $190 per person with taxes minus gratuities. An 8 course meal with dessert and 2 additional sides was a rich selection of seafood, meat, veggies, and fruits prepared creatively to titillate your palate. While the lamb loin stood out for me, my girlfriend appreciated the rohan duck. The only course that didn’t impress us was the poached halibut. The servers were warm and welcoming and since we were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday, they took great care in adding special touches. Feel free to let them know about your dietary preferences and they’ll be more than happy to accommodate. The place is spacious and noise levels are low. Vibe and interiors, a blend of industrial contemporary styles, elevate the dining experience. Overall, this spot is worthy of a Michelin star and we’d recommend it highly for your special occasions.
This place was okay. I really liked their courses up until the entree. The duck was by far the saddest meal I’ve gotten in Chicago. It was fatty and super chewy. The sauce didn’t go very well with the taste of the duck. For it being the most expensive entree I’d expect it to be best tasting (or the best quality), personally I felt that I could cook a better duck meal than the meal I got. If I could go back I’ll order 3 octopus appetizers for my entree.
Food was average for a birthday dinner, nice ambiance, BUT, the extremity of the staff being mask obsessed every time they came to the table completely ruined the experience for us. They’ll twist it to make sound like they are keeping ‘you’ safe, but don’t buy into it. I’d avoid this place during this time of socialism & control.
The servers here are just amazing and seem to have wonderful memories. At this restaurant, we wanted to have breakfast. It really was a very good start to our day. We enjoyed the food and the venue. It was very cosy and friendly. Beautiful food! We had lunch at this restaurant a couple of times while visiting family and friends on the island.
